A GPO negotiates contracts with vendors and suppliers on behalf of its members, allowing independent dental practices to access significant discounts that are typically only available to large dental groups or DSOs.
How is Dentalink IPA different from a DSO?
Unlike a Dental Support Organization (DSO), Dentalink IPA does not take ownership or control of your practice. Members retain full independence while benefiting from lower costs and improved service from vendors.
Do I have to change my current vendors?
No, you are not required to switch vendors. However, our partner vendors offer exclusive pricing that may provide better savings than your current agreements.
Does Dentalink IPA purchase and distribute supplies?
No. Dentalink IPA does not hold inventory or distribute products. We negotiate discounted pricing with suppliers, and members purchase directly from our vendor partners.

You can cancel at any time by providing 30 days’ notice. There are no cancellation fees.

Do I have to use all of Dentalink IPA's vendor partners?
No. You are free to choose the vendor contracts that best fit your needs. You are not required to participate in all agreements.
How does invoicing work?
You will continue to receive invoices directly from the vendors you purchase from. Dentalink IPA negotiates pricing, but all payments, deliveries, and transactions are handled directly by suppliers.
What if I have an issue with a vendor?
If you encounter a problem with a vendor, you can contact them directly. However, if an issue is not resolved, Dentalink IPA will intervene on your behalf to ensure fair treatment.
How often do vendor pricing and contracts change?
Dentalink IPA works to lock in negotiated pricing for our members, but some pricing may be adjusted periodically based on supplier agreements. Members are always notified of any changes.
